Music for the Mind is a digital sanctuary — a continuous curated music stream and evidence-based mental-wellbeing resource centre. The service is provided by Elastic FM Limited, trading as Music for the Mind.

If you have any questions about this policy, or about the information we hold about you, please contact us through the contact page.

We only collect what you choose to give us, and only in two places:

• Song requests. When you tell us what lifts you, we ask for your name, your email address and the song or artist you would like to hear. You may also choose to hear about Music for the Mind activities, both online and possible in-person meet-ups — we only add you to that list if you tick the box.
• Therapist Toolkit registrations. If you register interest in the Therapist Toolkit, we collect your full name, email address, mobile phone number, the type of therapy you deliver and any qualifications you tell us about. This is used solely to let you know when the Toolkit is ready.

We use your information to curate and respond to song requests, to let registered therapists know when the Toolkit launches, and — only where you have opted in — to share news about Music for the Mind activities online and in person. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it entirely. If you have opted in to hearing from us, you can opt out just as easily. Simply get in touch through the contact page and we will take care of it promptly.

The music streamed across Music for the Mind is provided by Elastic FM Limited. All licence fees are paid under a streaming licence to PRS for Music and PPL, ensuring that the artists and rights holders behind the music you hear are fairly rewarded.
